We are a band called Wonderstar.

My name’s R.J. McNair and I play the lead guitar.

We have played a thousand shows.

Nobody goes.

But we will never fail once we play in Lauderdale.

We bought a van back in ’85.

We got the Wonderstar logo airbrushed on the side.

We lost funds fast and sold it to a pederast.

Wonderstar will attack and we’ll finally buy it back.

Our tape got played on 103.5.

We thought all these things would happen.

They did not.

All the things we sought.

We just arrived.

It’s not all that nice.

Everything I heard was from Nerds in Paradise.

But that time has past.

Parties never last.

Ten bleached blondes within reach.

Saxophones on the beach.

I was once like you thinking new bands were best.

Soon my pop rock was gone.

God had put me to the test.

It’s a test I would not fail so I came to Lauderdale.

Don’t you guys understand?

We’re the nations hottest band.

I spent years at GIT working on guitar technique.

Then I stormed off stage in a fit of rage.

Wonderstar will be back.
